Rhiannon lives in Wales in 58–60AD when the Romans, under the leadership of Suetonius Paulinus, come to Anglesey from Northern England. The people of her village fight bravely but are defeated, and a number of druids are among those who are killed. The Romans notice that Rhiannon is a strong fighter and bring her back to Rome to be a fighter and to fight for her life.
