A selection of the poems of Gwilym Ceri Jones (1893-1963), which includes the nostalgic tinge of the lyricist and the bite of the social commentator. Born in Rydlewis, Ceredigion, he spent his career as a minister in Treorchi, Penrhyndeudraeth, Llanwrtyd, Port Talbot and Clydach ar Dawe. He won the Pwllheli National Eisteddfod Chair in 1955, and a further selection of his work can be found in Meadow Honeys.
