This volume presents the chronicles of five disputes that developed between Sir Dafydd Trefor and four poets of his time, together with an elegy for him by Ieuan ap Madog ap Dafydd. There is both the funny and the profound in these poems, and in them you get a glimpse of the colorful life of a clergyman and his friends at the end of the fifteenth century and the beginning of the sixteenth century.
