On Christmas Day 1900, to welcome the new century to the Bron Haul cottage on the Hiraethog hills, a little girl named Catherine was born to the Griffith family. Her story is a tribute to a small piece of marshy upland - a simple, insignificant home in the middle of nowhere. Although Bron Haul did not find a place in our history books, the story of this small homestead is a reflection of the struggle of our ancestors.
